PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The US Coast Guard Office of Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence (C5I) and Sensor Capabilities (CG-761) seeks to identify, develop, and implement business processes needed to efficiently execute their responsibilities as the Coast Guardís Requirements Management Office.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual shall assist with developing repeatable business processes to ensure efficient execution of the RMOís responsibilities and measure performance metrics against an industry approved standard, such as the Capability Maturity Model Standard and certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorís degree
  • Six years management/leadership experience
  • Management for business process improvement projects
  • Experience with USCG (or equivalent) acquisition and life cycle management processes
  • Experienced leadership in planning, facilitating, managing, closing process improvement projects
  • Experience in root cause analysis and solutioning

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Secret Clearance eligible
  • Masterís degree
  • Knowledge of CMMI and ISO quality management systems and process development
  • Good presence/performance as a senior advisor to USCG directors and staff officers
  • Experience with Acquisition Program Level I or II
  • USCG or DOD experience

WORK LOCATION: Washington, DC

TRAVEL: 10%
