JOB TITLE: Operations Research Analyst III-CNRC

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Provide analysis support to Commander, Navy Recruiting Command (CNRC) for a variety of research projects, studies and ad hoc assignments utilizing the principles of Operations Research, process analysis, statistical analysis, and mathematical analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide statistical analysis support to analyze recruiting program requirements, track the execution of various functions and coordinate program planning efforts
  • Apply operations research, numerical and statistical analysis techniques to support recruiting programs and initiatives
  • Provide statistical analysis support to obtain new enlisted and officer contract information through liaison with other departments
  • Organize, collect, analyze, and present statistical information related to the tracking of applicants, goal attainment, and marketing analysis for both officer and enlisted programs
  • Assist in refining Enlisted Accession Plans and Goaling Policies
  • Verify appropriate documentation and correlate information from Navy web-based applications and databases
  • Provide data spreadsheets used to identify manpower/personnel trends and impacts
  • Analyze data and report mission performance trends to command leadership
  • Analyze and report on recruiter level performance metrics using various recruiting management systems/databases

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Five years of experience related to Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Financial Analysis, and Complex Problem Solving
  • High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorís degree in mathematics, statistics, business, law, engineering, social sciences, physical/applied science or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics or management information technology
  • Experience in Navy Recruiting or the Manpower, Personnel, Training, & Education (MPTE) Enterprise

WORK LOCATION: Millington, TN

TRAVEL: 5%
