JOB TITLE: Project Scheduler - SOF/PR


The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Special Operations Forces & Personnel Recovery Division System Program Office (SOF SPO) develops, produces, fields, sustains, and modifies major SOF weapon systems


  • Identify and analyze operational requirements and the weapon system capabilities needed to meet those requirements
  • Develop recommendations for executable acquisition strategies for weapon systems development,
  • Evaluate preferred engineering concepts
  • Identify technologies and associated risk drivers
  • Define life cycle costs
  • Develop draft detailed program schedules and critical path products
  • Define and develop draft detailed requirements and products for transportation, training, and technical protection required for weapon systems development


Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelorís Degree
  • 10 yearsí experience in project management
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and execute project technical tasks working with subject matter experts and other staff
  • Experience creating, updating, managing, analyzing and reporting complex, interrelated MS Project schedules
  • Skilled at integrating complex project management data into MS project tasks and linkages
  • Skilled at evaluating and adhering to generally accepted scheduling practices as defined by the DCMA 14 point assessment


  • Masterís degree in related field
  • 12+ yearsí experience
  • Incumbent in SOF/PR SPO
  • Experience with SOF/PR Division weapons systems and programs
