JOB TITLE: Tech Order Manager - MQ-9

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

AFLCMC / WII is responsible for the development, test, production, and sustainment of the MQ-9 UAS. This project provides Life Cycle Sustainment in the product support areas to include Supply Support, Maintenance Planning, PHS&T, and Tech Orders for MQ-9 and associated systems. This position provides advisory and assistance services support to the government program office at their Wright-Patterson AFB operating location.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide advisory assistance to the customer by analyzing program support strategies to ensure compliance with current policy, guidance, new changes and emerging policy and guidance; Identify potential issues and make recommendations for Government consideration
  • Provide advisory assistance to the customer by supporting the development of recommendations on program funding for logistics requirements
  • Coordinate with program functional groups to ensure logistics technical requirements are captured and included in appropriate documentation
  • Provide advisory assistance to the customer by recommending potential levels of system support for Government consideration relating to fielding new and/or modified systems
  • Provide advisory assistance to the customer by identifying potential rapid response actions for transition from a Contractor supported system to a normal acquisition program and organic support
  • Provide advisory and draft documentation support for the development of economic analyses to determine impacts of establishing new levels of maintenance (i.e. organizational and depot)
  • Provide technical advisory support to the customer for the analysis of technical data products required to field and meet long term sustainment objectives
  • Provide advisory and draft documentation support for the analysis and development of contract language, CDRL, SOW and other program documents
  • Provide advisory assistance to the customer for the development of long-term sustainment strategies for transition of software systems to organic support
  • Coordinate with PMs and provide advisory support for their function of assessing modifications to ensure appropriate logistics requirements are identified and included in new acquisition strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
  • Masterís degree in relevant field
    • Eight (8) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Masterís degree; or, four (4) years of additional work experience plus a Bachelorís degree may be substituted for a Masterís degree
  • Ten (10) yearsí experience in functional area
  • Five (5) years of any experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Unmanned Systems (UAS)
  • Experience completing or performing the 12 Product Support Elements, in particular Technical Order management, as outlined in DoD and AF instructions
