JOB TITLE: Senior Logistics Manager – MQ-9


AFLCMC / WII is responsible for the development, test, production, and sustainment of the MQ-9 UAS. This project provides Life Cycle Sustainment in the product support areas to include Supply Support, Maintenance Planning, PHS&T, and Tech Orders for MQ-9 and associated systems. This position provides advisory and assistance services support to the government program office at their Wright-Patterson AFB operating location.


This position will provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff as well as detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues. Responsibilities to include:

  • Initiating, supervising, and/or developing requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion relevant to the following:
  • Identifying potential options and make recommendations utilizing supply chain management knowledge for inventory management, material management and material distribution in support of the MQ-9 system
  • Provide technical advisory assistance between AFLCMC / WII, Major commands and operating units to address issues affecting the program product support elements
  • Identifying potential rapid response actions for transition from a Contractor supported system to a normal acquisition program
  • Provide advisory and draft documentation support for the development of economic analysis to determine impacts of establishing new levels of maintenance (i.e., organizational and depot) and the analysis and development of contract language, CDRL, SOW and other program documents
  • Make recommendations relating to development of funding requirements for initial and replenishment spares to support current and future funding needs
  • Provide advisory support during demand and replenishment reviews for supply levels and assessing material movement processes (i.e., shipping and transportation)
  • Supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions


Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret Clearance is REQUIRED
  • Master’s degree or 18 years total experience, or:
    • Bachelor’s degree and 22 years total experience
  • Five (5) years’ experience on DoD programs/projects
  • Ten (10) years’ experience in the Product Support arena, and
  • Experience and capability to lead more junior members of the team in support of assigned tasks


  • Familiarity with the elements of product support in the sustainment of family of systems
  • Experience with Unmanned Systems (UAS)
