JOB TITLE: Air Force Requirements Subject Matter Expert


The Qualified Candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on Air Force Requirements determination and Policy development, as part of WBBís highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants. He/She will be expected to support a wide variety of analytical projects involving requirements generation, concept of operation development, capability-based assessments and life-cycle acquisition support. The projects will involve working for and with a variety of DOD, Federal, and corporate customers. The SME will work with senior government personnel on a regular basis and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings.


  • Responsible for providing management support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services in support of the customerís mission. Services include some or all of the following (not all inclusive):
  • Provide objective analysis, insight, and recommendations to customers on a wide variety of topics
  • Develop sophisticated products such as Concepts of Operations, JCIDS documents (ICDs, CDDs, etc.), and analytical studies and policy documents
  • Participate in and lead collaborative working groups such as IPTs and coordinate staffing among a variety of government and industry organizations
  • Develop and present high level briefings to senior government or corporate customers
    • May serve in program management positions
    • Support bid and proposal review/analysis
    • Contribute to business development initiatives of the company


Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
  • Bachelorís Degree
  • Ten (10) years recent experience (within the last 4 years) as an operational aviator in fighter/tactical aircraft
  • Experience supporting requirements generation, resource analysis, and Joint Capabilities Integrated Development System (JCIDS)
  • Prior SAP/SAR program experience


  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Current SAP access
  • MAJCOM Staff Experience
