JOB TITLE: Warehouse Specialist - CNRC

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Support the customer with recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country and focus on the productive outcomes required by executing best business practices and maintaining an effective, motivated, integrated active and reserve recruiting force.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use manual or mechanized equipment to move, stack, box, and position materials and equipment through a warehouse facility
  • Use Navy computers and commercial carrierís computers to update information in inventory database, process customerís requests, generate shipping labels, shipping reports, etc.
  • Log incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Assemble material for issue
  • Use manual or mechanized equipment to move, stack, box, and position materials and equipment through a warehouse facility
  • Organize, arrange, and inventory material in storage areas to prevent damage, deterioration, and loss.
  • Clean rooms or work areas.
  • Move material using forklifts, pallet jack and hand truck
  • Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products
  • Maintain material handling equipment

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to complete a successful background investigation to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance
  • Three years of experience related to Experience Warehouse Support and Office Management
  • Shall possess and maintain a forklift operatorís license and a motor vehicle license.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorís degree in mathematics, statistics, business, law, engineering, social sciences, physical/applied science or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics or management information technology. Experience in Navy Recruiting or the Manpower, Personnel, Training, & Education (MPTE) Enterprise

WORK LOCATION: Millington, TN

TRAVEL: 5%
