JOB TITLE: Service Desk Specialist

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The project provides comprehensive training, contractor logistics, operator, and sustainment support services, to include material procurement, for equipment and capabilities in the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States to support Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) family of systems (FOS).

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is the first point of contact and incident resolution for customers with hardware, software, and application problems. Use knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components to perform analysis of system operations. Perform fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual components.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active US Secret security clearance
  • Junior Level AA/AS and Three (3)- Five (5) years relevant experience (Six (6) experience in lieu of a degree
  • Working knowledge as a Technician for IBD-SS systems such as BETSS-C, HMDS, FMV, IBD-K, FP-Suite, JDOC, RDISS and ECP systems
  • Hold a U.S. Passport with Kuwait Visa  

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge and experienced in reading engineering drawings as they relate to researching part numbers and part number changes to facilitate COLTS database updates/changes, and documents.  
  • High level COLTS user very experienced in all aspects of the database to include configuration and property management, maintenance work orders, shipments, requisitions, RMA module, and how they all relate to system configurations.  
  • Performed Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) & information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) implementation for system devices, perform imaging of systems, CERP replacement, etc.? 
  • Experience with COLTS MWO processes and utilization throughout program fleet. 
  • Experience teaching/training COLTS highly desirable. 
  • Knowledge of D-FAR, DPAS, Logistics and Warehouse Operations, Government Property Management, Working with CONUS/OCONUS teams.    
  • Comprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications CM – COLTS Database SME  
  • Experience performing Level I/II Active Directory functions such as unlocking accounts, creating and issuing accounts, etc. 
  • Desired Baseline/Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent 
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
