JOB TITLE: Director, Pricing


This position will provide daily support to the Pricing and Proposal teams while reporting to the Vice President, Contracts. The successful candidate will manage the pricing team, develop strategic pricing methods, and will be responsible for company-wide price/cost proposals and business proposal volumes.


  • Manages senior, mid, and junior level pricing analysts, and proposal analysts; Hires and trains new staff as required
  • Responsible for ensuring timely and compliant completion of price and cost proposals, cost narratives, and business volumes with the support of the pricing team
  • Assigns and distributes pricing assignments with deadlines to the team and provide guidance for pricing assignments
  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic pricing models in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for presenting price/cost methodology and approach to senior management and obtaining approvals
  • Reviews price/cost spreadsheets and business volumes for the color team review process
  • Reads, comprehends and explains RFPs and prepares clarifying questions related to pricing, and develop estimates related to proposed solution
  • Develops subcontractor pricing requirements and data calls in coordination with subcontract team
  • Works closely with proposal managers, senior management and contracts to ensure price/cost proposals are in line with the companyís goals and overall budget;
  • Completes and reviews sealed bid cost proposals for submission to the government


  • Bachelorís degree in finance, accounting, business operations or other business administration
  • 6-8 years of management experience
  • 10-15 years of experience in pricing experience
  • Expertise in different contract types, such as FFP, T&M, and Cost plus, and how each contract type affects price and cost
  • Expertise in MS Excel to include macros, complex formulas, and detailed spreadsheets
  • Experience with working GSA, IDIQ, BPA and task order pricing requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines, and respond to urgent requirements
  • Positive and patient attitude with inquisitive nature
  • Excellent written and professional communication (oral and written) skills
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking; consultative problem solving; flexibility; and administrative, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with other MS office products to include MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint


  • Contracts Administration experience
  • Desired experience with Service Contract Act and hazard pay pricing actions
