WBB is seeking candidates to provide the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research & Development (RD) Directorate with cutting edge programmatic services. The RD organization provides science, technology and capability development investments that maintain the U.S. military’s technological superiority in countering WMD and asymmetric threats, mitigate the risks of technical surprise and respond to the warfighter’s urgent technical requirements. WBB is seeking individuals with relevant experience to support this mission as part of an integrated team of programmatic, acquisition, regulatory, and policy subject matter experts.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides analysis of business processes
  • Identifies key indicators for performance metrics
  • Research and document process flows
  • Designs process improvement plans and ensures proper implementation practices
  • Presents research, findings, and plans to management
  • Monitors product and/or service differentiators
  • May attend, exhibit, and present at conferences and trade associations
  • Provide expertise to advise and assist in policy and process development, implementation and improvement.
  • Provide portfolio, programmatic and logistical support for planning, implementing, and evaluating CBRNE, CTN, CIT and CWMD program activities in support of CCMDs, Joint Task Forces, DoD elements, and other non-DoD Government agencies which may include developing or assisting RD in developing processes and setting standards for the review and assessment of program performance
  • Providing expertise with experience in CBDP DoD Service Lab Strategic Engagements to support DoD Lab commander-director reviews, Joint Science and Technology Office (JSTO) Strategic Plans, and integration/road- mapping with the JPEO-CBD 30-Year Plan, and the Program Strategy Guidance (PSG)
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvements/innovations to portfolio/program critical functions, processes, procedures and activities to ensure that system processes, procedures and activities accomplish required objectives to meet DTRA and DoD mission objectives rapidly. This activity includes supporting Government Furnished Equipment Tracking, Financial Management, Internal/External Engagement tracking, Senior Leadership Engagement tracking, Acquisition Strategy planning and execution, Training, Security and other processes, procedures, and activities that the RD Directorate interfaces with
  • Support planning for biannual RD climate surveys, as required. Support Analyze survey result analysis, as directed by the COR, and assist RD managers at all levels in developing and implementing action plans to address identified problems

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 20 or more years’ relevant experience
