WBB is seeking candidates to provide the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research & Development (RD) Directorate with cutting edge programmatic services. The RD organization provides science, technology and capability development investments that maintain the U.S. military’s technological superiority in countering WMD and asymmetric threats, mitigate the risks of technical surprise and respond to the warfighter’s urgent technical requirements. WBB is seeking individuals with relevant experience to support this mission as part of an integrated team of programmatic, acquisition, regulatory, and policy subject matter experts.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes business operations, requirements, needs, and goals; and identifies and implements new policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and improve operations
• Consults management and leaders for operational effectiveness, and advises methods to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulations
• Identifies business risks and root causes of business challenges, and translates them into process or technical solutions; identifies opportunities for improved operational performance; and guides management to make informed transformation driven decisions
• Provides recommendations on business process improvements and best practices, how to achieve long-term growth, reduce operational cost, and/or support business objectives and processes
• Facilitates gathering of requirements, design sessions focusing on identification of business requirements, and business process discovery and development of initiatives and plans to achieve business goals
• Contributes to development of a business plan to meet customer needs and company goals; and assists in development of project plans and schedules to achieve project goals
• Works with teams to implement processes and technology that supports business values and process efficiency across business and technical functions
• Coaches operations team on business operations and problem solving skills, manages and maintains training materials, and may perform on-site education presentations on business processes in an effort to integrate operational standards
• Prepares and delivers presentations regarding industry compliance
• Support the maintenance and management of the process and database for determining, tracking and maintaining the status the most critical CBRNE, CWMD, CIT and CTN technology capabilities, initiatives, and gaps for requirements documentation. Additionally, the contractor shall work closely with the S&T SME A&AS contractor to document and maintain the scientific and technical analyses of the critical technology capabilities, initiatives, and gaps in the requirements documentation
• Provide RD leadership with tools to make informed, strategic decisions regarding the development and influence of ongoing requirements documentation across the DoD

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 20 or more years’ relevant experience
