JOB TITLE: Administrative & Logistics Specialist- PNT

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The individual will support the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PNT PO) with modernization, development, and sustainment of a variety of GPS receivers and user equipment to meet existing DoD / civil mandates and DoD / national-level priorities by supporting the identification, documentation, and implementation of logistics related activities, milestone preparation and documentation of these activities in program briefs and reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing acquisition management support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of acquisition services in support of the customerís mission. Services include the following:

  • Assist as required in organizing meetings, tracking and responding to suspenses, and preparing staff packages
  • Support the overall project lead and provide support to Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings
  • Develop new approaches to problems encountered and support the management of logistics strategies for assigned projects, as directed by the project lead
  • Implement logistics related plans by preparing and reviewing program documents, including detailed acquisition plans, development, and production schedules
  • Perform liaison work with other AFLCMC Program Offices, and operational units

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5 years related experience
  • Experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally
  • Excellent skills with MS Office product suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years related experience
  • Level I DIWIA Certification
  • Experience as an executive or administrative officer in support of Directorate, Division or Branch-level functions or equivalent
