JOB TITLE: Wargame/Strategic Intelligence Analyst - I MEF G-3

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

"This position is contingent upon contract award"

This task order focuses on operational planning services in support of the I MEF G-3 Operations and G-5 Plans divisions. Operational planning support includes, but it is not limited to, strategic, operational, amphibious, and Joint/Combined Training and Joint Exercise Event Life Cycle (JELC) planning and assessment support.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and support the execution of planning Operations Plans (OPLANS) and Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), development of strategies and screening processes, crisis action planning, deliberate planning, command and staff actions, and component/war fighter interactions
  • Assist in the development of training and education plans including exercises and war games; identify, collect, filter, and disseminate information with multiple levels of security
  • Provide SME support to training of MEF Intelligence Center (MIC) analysts
  • Provide Written Recommendations and Analysis for Specific Issues (WRASI) including:
  • Analyze decision-making processes and techniques to enhance defenses against enemy information operations beyond information security and information systems security; design training/instruction to accomplish this.
  • Analyze Red Team tools and techniques to determine which are most effective for intelligence analysis and develop operating procedures to use them effectively
  • Support development of end states, objective, and metrics in support of I MEF preparations for future war capability.
  • Provide input to technical documentation to support requirement development for inclusion in the joint requirements process
  • Provide written products and deliverables including:
  • Pre-Event planning documents
  • Trip reports and Conference / Working group meeting minutes
  • Informational point papers, meeting summaries, and routine staff documents
  • Weekly rollup summaries

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • U.S. citizen
  • Secret clearance or higher [position may be upgraded to Top Secret/SCI]
  • Bachelors Degree (BS/BA) [6 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Associate's Degree plus four (4) additional years' experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree]
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Experience with the following:
  • The Marine Corps Planning Process or Military Decision Making Process or other service equivalent
  • The Marine Corps service-level concepts and doctrine or other service equivalent
  • Graduate of a service (or industry equivalent) Red Team course
  • U.S. Marine Corps service at the MEF or MAGTF level or other service equivalent

WORK LOCATION: Camp Pendleton, CA

TRAVEL: 20%
