JOB TITLE: Program Manager (SME) - SAF/AQLA

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

SAF/AQLA provides expert advice to the Department of Defense (DoD) Low Observable (LO)/Counter Low Observable (CLO) Tri-Service Committee (TSC) on systems, export compliance, and is the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent for DoD technology development and implementation efforts to protect program information from compromise when in fielded systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Manager (SME) will be responsible for:

• LO/CLO Analyst directly supporting the DoD TSC
• Directly supports F-35 policy on training and operations for foreign partners
• Program Management for operational and export policy issues involving advanced technology, especially LO/CLO technologies
• Represents the Air Force to the Office of the Secretary of Defense in LO/CLO: TSC, Defensive Systems, and Executive Committees
• Resolves export cases and licenses for Air Force LO/CLO advanced technology
• Applies broad knowledge to present briefings across the Department of Defense (DoD) systems portfolio, to include radar, LO/CLO technology, Electronic Warfare (EW), weapons, manned, and unmanned systems
• Coordinates technology reviews with National Research Laboratories, Secretary of the Air Force, Directorate of International Affairs personnel, and defense industry

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance:  Top Secret/ SCI

• TOP SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and background investigation current within the past 6 years
• Master’s Degree
• 15 years of related DoD work experience

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• DoD, Service, or joint level experience at higher headquarters
• Recent practical experience supporting DoD Special Access Program (SAP) security procedures/processes
• Operational and policy export compliance documents and procedures
• Science or engineering degree
• DoD acquisition experience
• Operational or test aviation experience

WORK LOCATION: Arlington, VA

TRAVEL: 5%
