Junior Pricing Analyst

JOB TITLE: Junior Pricing Analyst


The Junior Pricing Analyst will report directly to the Manager, Pricing and will produce pricing analysis and proposals for Federal, State, and Local Government, as well as Commercial opportunities. 


Duties include entering cost data into existing pricing templates and ensuring the timely completion of assigned cost/price proposals. This position will entail entry of estimates of direct labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs and the application of indirect rates. Attention to detail and accuracy of data entry, formulas and calculations is an absolute requirement. With assistance from the pricing team, specific duties include:

  • Prepare compliant cost proposals in accordance with Request for   Proposal (RFP) and internal requirements
  • Adherence to the cost proposal process from Draft RFP through proposal submittal
  • Provide support to corporate capture team, line organizations and staff in the pursuit of new business

 Position may require unscheduled extended work hours and nonstandard work weeks



  • Bachelorís Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field with 0-2 years relevant professional experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office with emphasis on well-developed MS Excel and MS Word skills
  • Proficient in creating, modifying, validating data and formulas on large, complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Advanced skills in Excel including most commonly used functions like SUMIF(S), SUMPRODUCT, VLOOKUP, MATCH, INDEX, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Possess communication and interpersonal skills and ability to address/present information in collaborative environments     with senior personnel             
  • Possess planning, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task between changing requirements and priorities
  • Requires a motivated self-starter who pays attention to details to support proposal assignments while functioning in a time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to work unscheduled extended work hours and nonstandard work weeks


  • Entry level understanding of the support and analysis requirements of client specific programs and projects
  • Executes specific work requirements posed by client and internal management
  • Supports positive relationships with lead management and key client team members
  • Take supporting role in the completion of all deliverables
