WBBís ideal candidate for this position possess experience managing large programs for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) . The candidate will provide a broad range of programmatic support services to the DTRA RD directorate in the areas of Program Management, Financial Management and Policy Support including systems analysis, acquisition support, project planning, budget analysis, PPBE, cost analysis and DTRA policies/procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide program management support for a diverse, 100-person team providing support to RD. Services include:

  • Support to all program management elements spanning the total acquisition life-cycle
  • Acquisition Strategy, Planning and execution of large, complex acquisition programs
  • Planning and managing acquisitions using other authorities that are not reliant on DoD 5000 and the FAR
  • Analyzing and preparing acquisition strategies and documentation
  • Requirements, program strategies and execution plan development
  • Project execution and risk assessment
  • Integration of activities across numerous departments and with other support contractors

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Masterís Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in program management, including systems analysis, acquisition support, project planning, budget analysis, PPBE, cost analysis and policies/procedures support.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or DoD Program Management certification
  • DTRA or Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) or Counter WMD experience
  • Experience managing multiple technically complex projects with a large, functionally diverse workforce
  • Experience integrating several service contractors into a cohesive team

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD
  • Experience working with DTRA RD programmatic functions
  • Experience with accelerated or alternative acquisition authorities
  • Broad experience with development, coordination and communication of program management strategies and recommendations with mid- and senior-level Service and OSD personnel

WORK LOCATION: Fort Belvoir, VA or Crystal City, VA

TRAVEL: 15%
