JOB TITLE: Operational Analyst


The program supports the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)). The program provides Acquisition expertise to Army senior leaders along with scheduling meetings, working with subject-matter experts, and coordinating across internal and external organizations to support Army acquisition priorities. Support also includes strategic communications, graphics design, and administrative support.


The position serves as the primary administrative support for the planning, execution, and post-event tracking for all scheduled Operational Sustainment Reviews (OSR).

  • Provide direct support to senior leaders in the office of Acquisition, Policy and Logistics
  • Conduct data calls and consolidate responses from across the Army to provide feedback on weapons systems through Operational Sustainment Reviews (OSRs)
  • Monitor schedules and master action lists, and coordinates and tracks actions across ASA(ALT)
  • Maintain and update reports provided to leadership and portfolio managers
  • Organize and schedule pre-briefs, develop associated timelines/schedules by coordinating with Army Program Executive Offices
  • Attend and conduct in-progress review meetings and OSR briefings to produce meeting minutes in the required format
  • Provide additional administrative support as required


Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelorís degree
  • Five (5) years of experience with Army Acquisition or Army program offices
  • Three (3) years experience supporting General Officer, Flag Officer or Senior Executive Service or equivalent leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word)


  • Administrative Assistant Experience
  • Organizational and planning skills, including meeting planning/scheduling
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the Correspondence Action Task Management System (CATMS), Task Management Tracker (TMT) and Defense Travel System (DTS)
