PROJECT OVERVIEW:

PMA-259 Air to Air Missiles program office at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for full-time on-site Program Analyst and Operations Support.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Technology System Engineer must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Applicants must also have excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • Screen, distribute and route correspondence
  • Prepare meeting agendas
  • Prepare Leadership for Industry Days and outside high visibility programmatic briefings
  • Assist with annual program management review development and coordination
  • Provide support to working groups, meetings and conferences with outside customers
  • Develop and respond to taskers
  • Collect and distribute action items to meeting attendees
  • Prepare and provide recommendation regarding program documentation
  • Educate workforce on COMSEC and OPSEC requirements and prepare for inspections to ensure compliance with all NAVAIR instructions and directives
  • Prepare and maintain the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and Emergency cards
  • Prepare floor plans, org charts, and seating charts
  • Maintain contact lists, muster drills, and the Program Operating Guide (POG)
  • Develop, maintain and update briefing templates
  • Review Congressional language and suggest strategies of improving communication with staff and program office
  • Summarize program requirements for briefing
  • Provide recommendation of program execution, out-year planning for POM issue sheets and Flight Plans regarding the PPBE
  • Assist IPTLs with various tasking from outside sources such as USN, ASNRDA, Fleet, etc.
  • Support, develop and prepare various
    • RFIs for IPTLs and Leadership
    • Programmatic risk, capabilities impacts
  • Affordability options and identify redundancies for greater efficiency

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working within a DoD weapons systems acquisition program office, especially within NAVAIR
  • Knowledge of other NAVAIR databases and data tracking systems is desired
