Description
Key Role:
May take lead on complex proposals of high value. Also responsible for review of all types of contract documents, including Master Agreements, licenses, Teaming Agreements and other agreements to ensure compliance, and identify possible business and legal risk. Work is non-routine, complex, involving the application of advanced technical and / or business skills in the area of specialization.
Responsible for ‘cradle-to-grave’ contract administration including proposal preparation, pricing, contract negotiation and overall administration with minimal supervision. Will take lead on complex proposals of high value. Leads reviews of solicitations and coordinates with team members. Reviews contract terms and agreements to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and customer and/or government specifications. Negotiates with customers. Provides support to the Contracts Leadership, Contracts staff, management and technical staff to assist with contract compliance and provides advice on contractual issues.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required, MA preferred.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in contracts, purchasing or equivalent, drafting and negotiating Federal Government, State / Local, or professional services contracts
- CFCM or CPCM certification desired.
Additional Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Federal Government, commercial, and / or state and local contracting, as well as associated regulations;
- Supervisory experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Presentation, team building and leadership skills.
- Ability to perform in complex cross-functional business environment.
- Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines.
- Global perspective of business environment and technology
- Interface Cross-functional departmental directors; senior corporate management, customer/supplier executive management; public agency executives.
