JOB TITLE: Contracting Administrative Support – Global Hawk

PROJECT OVERVIEW:  

The Air Force Program Executive Officer for ISR & SOF (AFLCMC/WI) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping ISR & SOF warfighters to dominate the battlespace. In order to meet current and projected workload requirements in support of AFLCMC/WI, the Government must augment its organic (military and civil service) capabilities within the Global Hawk Division (AFLCMC/WIG) with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support. 

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accomplish tasks through the use of software programs/databases to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Windows (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Internet Explorer, Contracting Writing System (ConWrite), FedBizOpps, Electronic Document Access (EDA), Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), AF Data Services, etc.
  • Subject to compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), Air Force FAR Supplements (AFFARS), Mandatory Procedures (MP), Informational Guidance (IG), as well as other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides, as required.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Contracting Officer (CO) with the following tasks:
    • Prepare contracts and modifications
    • Distribute contract documentation
    • Provide database support and computer applications
    • Support contract closeout
    • Collect data for audit and/or report requests
    • Coordinate with other Government agencies
    • Coordinate with Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS)
    • Create, retrieve and request contracting reports
    • Produce copies of acquisition documentation
    • Prepare source selection material
    • Track contract milestones
  • Perform the various administrative duties common to all organizations to support the accomplishment of the Global Hawk Acquisition mission. Common skills and abilities are listed below:
    • Capable of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and SharePoint tools to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
    • Ability to communicate with senior personnel and coordinate work and meeting schedules within the Microsoft Office environment
    • Ability to receive and understand instructions and carry out those instructions in a swift and efficient manner
    • Ability to file and retrieve formal program documentation and shall be familiar with or attend government provided training on Electronic Records Management (ERM), Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS), Functional Area Records Management (FARM) duties, and Records Custodian (RC) duties
    • Ability to send, receive, and process the United States (US) mail
    • Assist with ordering of office supplies through inventory, gathering requests for supplies, and preparing and itemizing various lists for supplies/equipment to be ordered/purchased by the Government office
    • Familiar with, or attend initial government-provided training on and become proficient in using the Defense Travel System (DTS); Assist in preparing Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) travel arrangements and travel vouchers using DTS
    • Familiar with, or attend initial government-provided training on and become proficient in using the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret

  • Must possess a current secret clearance
  • Must have one of the following:
    • Associate’s Degree OR
    • Four (4) years of work experience may be substituted for an Associate’s Degree
  • Experience with Contracting Writing System (ConWrite), FedBizOpps, Electronic Document Access (EDA), Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG)
  • Experience with Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS)
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience with administrative functions
  • At least 18 months of experience must have been performed on Department of Defense (DoD) programs/projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
